Turn two disconnected Squarespace sites into one premium system for a clay court builder, with softcourtservices.com as the main site and hydrocourt.com sending its visitors there.
Challenge
Soft Court Services builds, renovates and maintains HydroCourts, clay tennis courts that are watered from underneath. Anthony Lopez ran two Squarespace sites that read like two different companies: softcourtservices.com for the business, and hydrocourt.com, the site that came with the HydroCourt name. The HydroCourt site had a blank search description, a one-word title and an out-of-date phone number in its footer. And the product itself is hard to show. From above, a HydroCourt looks like any other clay court. What makes it different is underneath.
Process
We rebuilt both sites from scratch on one Next.js codebase, so they share a single design and can't drift apart. The homepage shows what a photo can't: as you scroll, the aerial shot of a court dissolves into a 3D model that comes apart layer by layer, with water rising through the cells beneath the surface. hydrocourt.com became a single page that answers what a HydroCourt is, built around a section drawing where the water rises in the control box and under the court together, and every button on it leads to softcourtservices.com. The jump between domains is designed to feel like one site. A pine cover slides over hydrocourt.com, softcourtservices.com opens on the same cover and lifts it, and the contact email records which site the lead started on. Anthony's copy carried over, and his client testimonials stayed word for word. Both domains got new search titles and structured data describing one business, Search Console, and Google Analytics that counts a visit across the two sites as one visitor.
